That's the laziest guy in the Zone.I don't know what is his purpose,but I guess he's supposed to sell you something,not just sleep there the whole day.

There are currently three traders and a guide at the flea market. I can only imagine they've decided to hold a convention there.

There were a fix from IG-2007 to fix the problem with the 24/7 sleeping trader. The root of the problem is that the time in the game is counted wrong and it is always time to sleep for him (Hi, Alice!). However IG-2007 warned that after this fix installed - anything can happen as we can not imagine which other processes connected to this. Probably there will be no crash to desktop but crash to neighbour one or two floors downstairs. :)

New patch 1.5.06

List of changes. New patch 1.5.06

Saved games

Saved games from 1.5.04 and 1.5.05 will be compatible with the patch 1.5.06.

Game changes

- Fixed the error that prevented a wounded guide from leading the player.
- The number of goods in the shop of the night-time trader increased.
- Added the ability to upgrade SVD 2 with the help of the Freedom technician.
- Fixed the crash that occurred when the player tried to talk with a wounded character.
- Fixed the error that prevented the main mission in the Warehouse (the door to the shelter of Sakharov couldn’t be opened).
- Increased the amount of money the Bandit faction trader has.
- Fixed an error that caused military warehouses to be displayed incorrectly in the PDA.
- Added the ability to load the last saved game after player death by pressing space.

Graphics

- Added DX10.1 support.
- Added antialiasing for alpha-tested objects (("alpha-to-coverage" for DX10.0, emulation of "alpha-to-coverage" on DX10.1 to increase quality, original DX10.1 implementation for higher quality).
- Added a new higher level of quality for shadows from the sun (ultra).
- Added the new technology of "min/max shadowmap" (use advantages of DX10.1 on suitable videocards) to increase quality of the sunshaft effect for top videocards and on high resolution.
- Increased performance of the sunshaft effect for DX9.

Multiplayer

- Fixed a large number of various errors that caused client and server crashes in multiplayer.
- Added the option of keeping detailed statistics on the server.
- Changed saving of the online log of the server (dump recording in one file online_dump.ltx from time to time).
- Added the ability to change keyboard layout (LCtrl + LShift).

On Russian site the link appeared and then was removed. I think they found some bugs in the patch! )))) Waiting for fixed 1.5.06 Rus )))

i expected more bugfixes for sp... maybe there are no bugs at all, just seems strange for me :D

i've heard from another forum that DX10.1 only supports ATI cards :?:
