just curious is thier a way to remove the high pitch sound that one zombie makes? It's my biggest annoyance in this game, I have to lower my volume everytime I'm near one cause it hurts my ears :(

edit: Yay! I found a fix to remove it here, it works wonders :D

That 'ringing in the ears' sound is your first warning that a controller is nearby. Not the best idea to remove it.

no the screen being all wavy like is the first warning, and the flashing red means your nearby, the ringing isn't needed :/

Controllers should appear on the minimap. That way it would be much easier to avoid the common 'particle' crash they cause by knowing where they are and getting to them before the crash occurs.

As it is the sound they make could be coming from anywhere as it seems to have no directionality to it.

If they were on the minimap you could go directly to their location and apply your supersonic lead-based curative directly into its left ear - that always stops all the noises.
