Make no more of it than you would of the 'cross' that appeared some time ago in the same area.
Weather is wierd, and nobody has yet worked out why.
I suspect they never will. It is a chaotic thing that defies analysis because it never stays the same long enough to get a hold of it. Something that constantly changes, by the hundredth of a second, will always piss scientists off and cause 'holy' or 'UFO' flaps.

Exactly. Way too many variables, impossible to simulate. If they see a big whirling thingy moving in some direction, they can say "there will be rain". That's all. Hell, they can't even decide if... no, not "if"... WHEN the ice is melting on the poles completely, how many meters will the sea level rise. And this is a simple calculation compared to the atmosphere dynamics. Not to mention the connections between these things.

looking at that launch it could be the culprit for that strange cloud shape.
