Adding anomalies

It's one thing I would like to mod in to CoP, so I was wondering how putting anomalies in a level is done. Is it done be editing all.spawn? And is it just done with a text editor?

The 'Smrter' mod for CoP has, in its list of changes, added 40 or 50 anomolies to each map (I think).

He's usually pretty quick to answer on his thread in 'Mod Discussion' and I'm sure he'd tell you how he did it.
