It's not THAT bad, I've first found SEVA at Wild Territory and few fireballs and then the level is not THAT hard especially that on it's start you can surely find decent weapond which is FN 2000 prototype...

I'm not certain who - things were a bit confusing during the fight - but I got a PKM machine gun from a Freedomer (probably one of the main targets). I had barkeep repair it for me, but I can't find anyone who sells 7.62x54R ammo.

Where can I get some?

Failing that, will it use the 7.62x54 stuff that the Dragunovs use? I can buy that from Don Reba.

no, you have to get the ammo in green metal boxes like the one you have hanging under the PKM's body. But if it's not for sale anywhere then probably it's a bug.

Thanks, Nemo.

The thought occurs that it may only be offered for sale beyond a certain point in the game. I'll wait a bit and see.

Failing that, I'll tweak a stash that has only ammo and put that 'R' stuff in there instead of the usual item.

I'm itching to see what that gun can do.

I've found a few of those long metal ammo boxes, but they always contain 5.54 BP ammo for the AK74 - and they vanish in my inventory and show up the way the 5.54 usually does.

I've almost amassed enough .45 to warrant taking the Kriss out for a walk to meet some bandits. I'm looking forward to that. A Merc at the bar had one and shot me with it - I dropped like a sack of potatoes. Looks like a mean and nasty bit of firepower.

Cant see it being a bug, get further into the storyline and the PKM`s ammo will be unlocked.

Well, it isn't in that part of Agroprom for starters.

There is one in 'Seriy's Stash' in the railway tunnel, one on the top floor of the other Agroprom building and the last is in Strelok's hideout in the underground.

Yeah, they removed that doc from that building so you don't have to worry about it-you're not the first one wondering about it...

Hi!

Is there a trader in Pripyat? :?

There's a guy in Monolith HQ, called Charon, who will sell you a few 9x39 rounds, but they're used and they cost you your life. Delivery is pretty quick, though.

No, not in the present incarnation of PS. You can probably sell things to NPCs, but no dedicated trader.
