New! I do not remember anywhere that "SLAVA TRUDU" in red letters on any building in original game.

"Slava trudu"?? "Hail to the effort" or "Effort's hail" :P ?
As for image it looks much like Pripyat but it seems it's not it, so it must be new... or you've changed quite much in Pripyat level...

Vehicles testing v05 video (work in progress)

in this video, we presentate the trunk and fuel feature we made. in short, fuel is needed for vehicles. it will be hard to find, and expensive to buy. why to have fuel? well, vehicles now have nice trunk, so you can pack there your stuff, much easier to carry weapons, and other items to the trader, isn't it? trunks have limited space, we plan not to give more than the player's actual carry capacity. also not all vehicles will have trunk, only the lada nivas, the vaz2105, moskvich, zaz986 and 918, and possibly the uaz.

Cool idea! It is so simple to imagine it and one of the seeds of appropriate realism! Suppose was a bit more complicated to release in the game! ;)

Not really "effort" ... it is more like "Labour" :)

We made a page on moddb, mostly for newcomers, so they can read what to expect from Priboi Story... (then we probably won't get emails with such content as "wtf is this? why do i need to collect documents? i don't want to read them, I just want to shoot and kill")

Priboi Story 1.2 beta (ca. 85-90% ready) will be released shortly after the release of Lost Alpha.

Priboi Story 1.2 beta is playable, but will be released mostly because of the request of the modders, who would like to continue it.

The beta 1.2 contains:
- rostok factory level with little alife
- all vanilla maps with reworked alife (hundreds of new smart terrains and ways, and balanced freed up alife)
- many new features, which we wont list until LA release :)
- fixed all.spawn (built up from zero with zrp fixes and yep it works with acdc.pl)
- removed ps 1.0 and 1.1 spawned objects (trees, houses) so performance is now the same as vanilla stalker
- based on Zrp mod, so almost every vanilla bug is fixed
- all former priboi 1.0 and 1.1 bugs were fixed
- reworked traders and vehicles with new functions
- and many more
- main ps storyline is yet disabled due to test version (will need some work to finish it)
- 80-90% of tasks are working (will require some work to finish it)

How much time is involved in that last 10-15%?

Come on, Dez. Think Michaelangelo, Jozsef Rippl-Ronai, da Vinchi. They all finished the masterpieces that survive as priceless treasures to this day.

Can you really leave the latest version of the best ever mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. as an unfinished work?

Am I making you feel guilty?

I used the example of Jozsef Rippl-Ronai specifically for that purpose.

I'm evil. I don't deny it. I like to get my way and will use dirty tricks if they seem appropriate.

Priboi 1.1 was masterpiece (1.2 was just a patch nothing else, the same story, just bugfixes, which was not much, but as we said we dont have time and willingness to work on it anymore so we dump it.... and then ppl started to write msg-s that we shouldnt dump it, because its a great source for modders, so we decided to release it as-is)

and Lost Alpha will be an other masterpiece if we can make it. then we are off from modding :) we need work, family and more real life :)
