It's just January, but It's the quote of the year surely :) And I feel the urge too. Arch Enemy in the morning traffic helps a bit, but not enough...

Hi

I was wondering how big the lost alpha areas are compared to those from the 3 vanilla games

Any 64 bit system should easily be capable of dealing with any 32 bit software.

My AMD X2 6000 64 bit cpu has no problem running XP SP3 or any other piece of software made for 32 bit machines.

Stands to reason. You should really be able to run two versions of a piece of 32 bit software on a 64 bit system simultaneously.

Yes, I know the concept of 'simultaniety' is under serious scientific debate, but I like the word.

currently LA is only compatible with 1.0004 WW patched SoC, because of the tweaks we made in some dll-s. Also many tweaked stuff does not work in newer 1.0005 and 0006, because GSC kept on disabling all old stuff.

This is not good news for Steam users, but we can't do anything.

About OS. We tested it on Win Xp 32bit SP2-3 and Win7. It works fine on Win7, so i guess it should also work on Vista.

oh well box copies of SOC are cheap enough as it is.

Any plans to make areas not in the zone? Similar to the town outside the zone in roadside picnic, where scientists try to recruit stalkers to lead them to places or just find artefacts for them

nope, we dont make more maps, since it would take an other year to debug them, and so on.

One word: WOW!!!

Dezowave team seems to have learned quite a few tricks since Priboi Story. I mean, heck, not so long ago, people didn't even know how to properly display the characters' bio...

I agree. Wow.

Looks like you folks are pulling out all the stops.

I'm now standing amongst windrows of the corpses of misguided maniacs, where the helicopters left me in Pripyat, and gazing back through Jupiter and Zaton to Red Forests, Army Warehouses, 100 Rads, Swamps and the Garbage, trying to catch a glimpse of the Lost Alpha.

Looking for 'The Door Into Summer'.

Love the expanded PDA and the ability to use computers. That tetris looks perfect for waiting out blowouts in some basement.

Can LA's main character use Fox's face? That was always the most badass looking stalker IMO, and he'd make a great hero face.
