You can ask questions and propose improvements regarding my fixes in this thread. But only the serious issues please.

Important ! You must first have clean installation of 1.3000, then apply the 1.30013 patch and only after that apply my patches.
The first two were created with 1.3001, but the affected files were not changed between 1.3001 and 1.30013

Repair / Upgrade dialog fix 0.9 for 1.30013:

Previous version of this fix is included (but slightly modified) in 1.30013.
These modifications returned some problems which were fixed, so I have created this patch

Fixed:
- crashes when upgrage config is missing, for example wpn_vintorez_m4
- repairing of not-upgradeable weapons and outfits (fixed in different way, so that it respects that they are not upgradeable)

Added these:
    r2_mblur - The intensity of motion blur
    r2_tonemap_middlegray - The intensity of the HDR
    r2_sun_lumscale - The brightness of the sun
    r2_sun_lumscale_hemi - Background illumination outdoors
    r2_sun_lumscale_amb - Background illumination indoors
    r2_ls_bloom_threshold - The bloom threshold
    r2_gloss_factor - The gloss factor
    fov - The field of view

Improved dynamic weather manager 0.6 for 1.30013

I have changed the way how the probabilities for changing the weather are interpreted.
And I have adjusted the probabilities to match the new interpretation in a way in which I think it was intended.

See the comments in the [weather_manager] section of lost_alpha_cfg.ltx for details.
Before it was confusing and there was only around 6 % chance to change to some other weather from clear.

Next planned things:
More stats for weapons, ammo and upgrades
CTDs caused by errors in scripts, xml or ltx files reported in http://www.dezowave.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1762

repair fix wont affect repair kit when using it game still crashes at least Fox can fix guns however upgrades not avaliable

After getting the "wire" for the scientist. Instant CTD after quest complete.

I'm also using a community fix but the issue is still not resolved

"Yantar Dialogue Fix" DOES NOT FIX THE ISSUE

Crux dixit: the bug you mention has already been added to the categorized list. Please post any further reports there.

Description : foot bone had not been set

Despite what everyone is saying, this is not fixed. g_actor_body is off, but moving backwards or sideways near Sin house causes game to crash.

you should download the latest patch 1.30013, but read the readme carefully, its not compatible with user made fixes, so you need to reinstall the game bfore that to get rid of the extra stuff you added in.

Don't know if it's just my install, but with your ui_mm_opt.xml, I got the following error when clicking "options" in main menu:
FATAL ERROR

[error]Function : CUIXmlInit::InitStatic
[error]File : ui\UIXmlInit.cpp
[error]Line : 169
[error]Description : XML node not found
[error]Argument 0 : tab_sound:check_eax
[error]Argument 1 : ui\ui_mm_opt.xml

Looking at the file in Notepad++, line 494 has "<!--" just above the eax sound check. Removed it, and all is well.
Clean install with your fixes/improvements added, new game. Haven't seen this reported elsewhere, just thought I'd let you know. THANK YOU for the improvements. The patch and your fixes/improvements make the game a lot better.

This looks like you have not installed the 1.30013 patch correctly. Look to file gamedata\scripts\ui_mm_opt_sound.script

In version 1.3000 there was this starting from line 25:

In 1.30013 there is:

So in 1.30013 they have commented out the line which is now causing your crash.

So I would recommend you to try the clean installation again. Best is to backup your saved games, uninstall the game completely and install it again (that is what I did)

Thank you...did as you suggested (actually did it right after my post...figured I'd messed something up), and everything works. :oops: Not sure how I messed up the uninstall, etc., but it works now. :D I really like the new video options.

Thank you. Adding sliders for lighting parameters is pure win. I can finally tweak until the game looks good on my monitor and settings. It's finally close to where I want it, and best of all, I can adjust on the fly to suit the current weather and level.

What do you do when the community fixes a bug before you do? Do you incorporate it into the next patch? Or do you take a look at it to get a hint in the right direction of fixing it properly?
