Mod list:

1) Ani_cursor
2) Shoc_scopes
3) Shoc_mainmenu

------------------------------------

[Ani_cursor]

Ani_cursor is a simple mod that brings back the animated STALKER cursor. I didn't really care for the default LA cursor and wanted to change it up. Ill be posting my other lost alpha mods here too when the time comes.

Directions:
1) Make sure the game is off.
2) Drop the gamedata folder into your lost alpha directory. A gamedata folder should already exist. For example "B:\Steam\SteamApps\common\STALKER Lost Alpha\gamedata". I have LA on my steam hard drive.

Download: - Does not require a new game.

------------------------------------

[SHOC-Scopes]

SHOC-Scopes is another simple mod that brings back Shadow of Chernobyl's scopes. I cant use LA's scopes due to them being way too small / cramped. The scope textures from SHOC wouldn't directly work in LA so I had to resize and adjust them all. I may or may not change the m4 & tmr scopes.

Scopes in mod:

* AK scope "green & red"
* Binoculars
* FN2000
* G36
* i85 & il86
* Fixed the magnum scope with the stock FN / il scope
* RPG

[Shoc_mm]

Shoc_mm is a simple mod that makes the menu music the same as Shadow of Chernobyl.

Directions:
1) Make sure the game is off.
2) Drop the gamedata folder into your lost alpha directory. A gamedata folder should already exist. For example "B:\Steam\SteamApps\common\STALKER Lost Alpha\gamedata". I have LA on my steam hard drive.

Nice, definitely better than old style cursor. :)

Thank you so much for the scopes! I really don't like the scratched up optics and arm-length away feel of the LA scopes.

How are you supposed to see through this. Without the scope I could actually see the guard in the tower but with the scope the scratches, combined with the size and night vision made it impossible to actually see the target.

You're welcome. I'm not sure either. The scopes were the same way in priboi story, stalker complete, misery, etc. I believe those scopes are meant for larger monitors. I plan on trying to adjust the rifle iron sights themselves too. The guns are being held out too far away from the player and look unnatural.

I think its' always been a normal issue with STALKER's scopes on 16:9. I believe CS Complete was able to fix this issue. Ill see what they did to fix it. Sorry about that.

If you alter between those 2 images you'll see the PSO and SUSAT scopes have slightly offset centre alignment too, not complaining just maybe something you can easily correct. I will be sticking to these scopes now 8)

Thanks for pointing that out. I've fixed the scope alignment & 16:9 width. The scopes should be round now. I don't have a way to test 4:3 to see if the 16:9 textures will properly scale. I may just have to use two different gamedata packages.

EDIT: Redownload the scopes to get the update.

Just a question , if I add mods in, will the saves be compatible with upcoming patches? I read that they wont be for those people who added mods. Or are those just mods that have data that interfere with the game?

Mods like these that replace textures won't affect your save games.
