Food / Water mechanic?

I'd like to know whether the food/water mechanic has any effect on gameplay?

Namely

1) Does water/food level have an effect on stamina or health regeneration rate?

2) Are water/food rates variable? Meaning does sprinting lead to H2O depletion faster? Does overencumberance or artifact use increase food use?

3) Are there any negative effects of being thirsty or hungry? Are there any positive effects of being hydrated and well-satiated?

4) Are the rates for food and water use the same?

5) Does food/water affect HP regen, bleeding etc?

6) Does wearing a closed-cycle suit like SEVA affect the water depletion rate?

7) Apart from price, description and cosmetics, is there any difference between the various foodstuffs?

8) As far as I've noticed, a single kielbasa will replenish full hunger and a single energy drink will fully rehydrate the PC. Are there any plans to make those variable?

As far as I can tell, It has an effect on how fast you regenerate health and stamina. I have never let them run completely dry, so I have no idea if you will start to take damage if you do. Sprinting does seem to deplete water faster.

All food seems to be the same.
