Multiple stash messages...

Postby Red Schuhart » Wed Aug 13, 2008 2:06 pm

I decided I'd like to have a patched game, 1.0004 or 1,0005, that had the feature from 1.0000 that allowed stash messages to be given more than once even though the stash hadn't been emptied.

NatVac gave me a fix that allowed the messages to be given again once the stash had been emptied, but I never managed to replace the original feature.

Would extracting the treasure.manager script file from 1.0000 and dropping it into the gamedata folder in a patched version work?

That has to be where the instructions for that feature exist. But will changes made after 1.0000 stop it from working in a patched version?

.

i dont think it will work if you use 1.0 scripts with 1.0005 patch :)

you need to compare the 1.0005 script with the 1.0 one, and see what was changed. the best tool for it is "compare it".

Nothing is ever as simple as it seems, is it?

I'll look into the comparison tool. Thanks.
