There is no SDK. But I'm sure Dezodor or another team member can give you some tips.

There are lots of mod tutorials out there, too.

.
Few know, and I'm not telling.

there is mp sdk, that is also ok for sp with some tweaking.

first you should read the wikipedia site :) it has a lot of important articles about this.

if you want to modify vanilla maps, there are 2 ways.

1. you spawn things, like we did in shoc but that requires more cpu power

2. reopen the map in max, and then add things in level editor, and try to recompile it again.... that can last for 2-3months too, since you need to attach it back to gsc maps, and add alife, add back smart terrains, waypoints, and also the levels are empty, so you need to put back trees, since if you reopen geom it wont contain the trees. those are in other file.

so its not an easy process, you need:

- max knowledge
- xray sdk knowledge
- and tools

for knowledge expanding and tools:

http://www.stalkerin.gameru.net/ (use translator) (you will find tools here too)
http://sdk.stalker-game.com/en/index.ph ... MOD_portal

for max tutorials:

http://www.tutorialized.com/tutorials/3DS-MAX/1
http://www.3dsmaxtutorials.net/

and also if you download sdk, you will find some sort of documentation there.

xray sdk download:

http://games.softpedia.com/get/Tools/ST ... -SDK.shtml

good luck :)
