Fatal Error when I attempt to upgrade a weapon with Fox

Hello folks,

Hoping someone can help me. Fresh install and latest patch. Whenever I attempt to upgrade a weapon or a suit at Fox's I get the error below. Any idea what may be causing it and how to resolve it? I can continue playing without upgrading, but I'm worried I may get the same error at the next mechanic shop.

Any help would be welcomed and thank you in advance.

Hi, send us the log file to our email or here in private message. You can even paste the whole to pastebin.ca site,and link that here. Its important to see the whole log, not just parts of it. thx!

Also need to know:

- which patch you installed
- which mods you use on la at the moment
- whats your progress in game now

I have received the same error and also when I ask Col Petrenko to fix something. Also, when you put Nomad's safe code in, the game locks up.

Hi Dez...I seem to have resolved the issue. I tried fixing or upgrading with Fox before I spoke to Sidorovich. Seems that after I spoke to him I was able to fix / upgrade my equipment with Fox. But just in case I'm e-mailing you the log file. Hope it helps you guys determine if indeed it is a bug. Thanks for the help.

Since my last comment, I reinstalled lost alpha with latest patch. I am at the gassed building bottom floor and ask the guy to repair a weapon. The screen fills up with code or something for a second and goes to desktop. There ought to be a way to get stuff repaired; maybe without listing everything in the inventory. Maybe by putting item in one of the slots like in the other STALKER games. I saved the game just before speaking to the repairmen. I tried it again and it did the same thing. it seems youre trying to repair an unique vintorez weapon, did you spawn it with spawn tool (from main menu)? it should not be available in the game so early, only in pripyat.

if so, drop that weapon before you try to repair something.
